Website Uptime, SSL & Domain Expiry Check
Daily check that your sites load, return the right status, and aren't about to lose their SSL certificate or domain. Silent when all is well.
The prompt
Check these sites every morning: [URL | WHAT SHOULD BE ON THE PAGE, e.g. https://example.com | "Sign up"]. For each URL: 1. Request the page. Note the HTTP status, where it redirects to (if it does), and roughly how long it took. 2. Confirm the expected text is on the page, so a blank page or an error page that returns 200 still counts as a failure. 3. Check when the SSL certificate expires. 4. Once a week, on [MONDAY], look up the domain's registration expiry date (WHOIS/RDAP). Alert me ONLY if: - A site is down, returns a 4xx/5xx status, redirects somewhere unexpected, or is missing its expected text. Re-check once after 5 minutes before you alert, and say whether it failed both times. - An SSL certificate expires in under [14] days. - A domain expires in under [30] days, or its auto-renew status looks off. - A page took more than [5] seconds twice in a row. For each alert, give the URL, what you saw, when you checked, and the most likely fix in one line. If everything passes, send nothing. On the 1st of the month, send one line: "All [N] sites passed every check this month" or a list of the days something failed. Read-only: don't log in to dashboards, renew anything, change DNS or contact anyone.
